Differences between high quality fresh green tea and cheap green teas:
  • Fresh green tea has green color -the fresher the more green;
  • High quality fresh green tea leaf is soft and can be taken like vegetable after brewed;
  • High quality fresh green tea is made from only bud, or bud plus one top leaf or just tips (top two leaves) while cheap green tea is made from large leaves. You would find that after brewed;
  • You may find many tiny white hairs on a leaf of high quality green tea and on top of tea drink after brewed;
  • High quality green tea is "early tea", the earlier and fresher the better;
  • High quality green tea is weight lighter usually, but it would be stayed on bottom after brewed;
  • High quality tea may be brewed more than 5-10 times and still has taste.

How to Take (Not just drink) Fresh Green Tea?

  • Add about one teaspoon of tea leaf into a tea cup or more in a tea pot, add boiling water to rinse for a few seconds and throw water away;
  • Use boiling fresh water to brew loose tea and drink it;
  • You may add boiling water again and again for up to 3-7 cups (or until no taste) of tea, but add just enough water for one cup each time. Do not add water once or brewed for a long time before drinking;
  • Take tea leaf like vegetable before or after drinking several cups of tea.
